Impact Catalyst gathers two basic types of information:
1. Information Provided To Impact Catalyst
In order to use some of the Impact Catalyst website’s services, we ask you to become a registered user. During this registration process, we will ask you for personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail address, city, state, country, and password.

1. User Registration
Users who want to contribute to the Impact Catalyst website through its forums, message boards, and/or comment sections, and/or by Pledging for Impact Catalyst Certification must become registered users. This is necessary so that Impact Catalyst can assure the quality of its forums. Registration is free.
The registration form requires you to choose a password and provide Impact Catalyst with personal information such as your first and last names, e-mail address, city, state, and country.
The personally identifiable information you provide during membership registration will not be given to third parties without your consent except in the limited circumstances described in the Information Sharing Policy.
2. Links To Third-Party Sites
Impact Catalyst does not share personally identifiable information with any third parties except in the limited circumstances described in the Information Sharing Policy. However, in order to submit a Impact Catalyst Certification application, donate, or view articles and other information provided by third-party websites, you may be required by those third-party websites to provide personally identifiable information to the third party(ies) whose tools and services you have chosen to use. Each third party may request different information from you. If you have additional questions about how a third party uses information about you, we urge you to contact them directly.
3. Information Collected By Impact Catalyst Through IP Addresses And Cookies

All of your registration information, as well as use of the Impact Catalyst website to submit comments, posts, or votes, require use of your password. We recommend that you do not share your password with anyone.
